We are AAHA Accredited!

Is Your Veterinary Hospital AAHA Accredited? We at Carolina Pets Animal Hospital proudly hold this distinction. Only 15% of all animal hospitals in North America are accredited by AAHA. Accreditation by AAHA means we've passed a voluntary inspection of more than 900 standards and that we are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of care for our patients.

AAHA accredited

Most pet owners don't realize that standards of excellence are not a requirement in veterinary medicine like they are in human medicine. The American Animal Hospital Association is the only organization that accredits veterinary practices in the US and Canada. Veterinary practices that accept the challenge of accreditation are evaluated on stringent quality standards that encompass all aspects of pet care including: surgery, dental and nursing care, diagnostic imaging, anesthesiology, pharmacy, laboratory, exam facilities, pet health records, cleanliness, emergency services, human resources, continuing education and leadership.

Carolina Pets Animal Hospital became accredited after just ten months of being open which is quite the feat as hospitals may not even undergo the inspection for six months after their inspection. Learn more about accreditation.
